Taking a LONG break!

Hey everyone- sorry things have been scarce around these parts, but i'm in the middle of writing not one, but TWO new Young Adult books to add to my collection!!! :)

I will be on baking hiatus until I've turned in and published both books. In the meantime, please feel free to email me at anytime for questions, updates, the possible breaking in writing to bake something for you, etc.

hey y'all! We were really busy during the holiday seasons and now things are winding down a bit. which is good, cause it gives our lovely baker (ahem, that would be me) time to do some other stuff, like write her next novel! yes, the baker of the house is also a young adult book writer! :)

9/11 birthday cupcakes!

i can't believe how many friends i have who were born on 9/11. admittedly, i can't believe how many VIRGO friends i have! (we are an awesome bunch)...

here are some cupcakes i made for a gf, whose birthday was on 9/11... i added simple patriotic touches to her mini cupcake variety pack because i know the day is important to her as well (not just for her birthday, but for the events of 9/11 as well).

early to rise

holy baking cupcake day! i had 2 dozen first thing in the morning to bake, quickly followed by 7 dozen for a party that afternoon! phew!
